General note: Although it was the third episode in the season to enter production, "Twisted" was specifically written to open season 11, concluding Griff's death-row incident from "The Joke's on Al (1026). After Ariel's line "I don't know what you see in me!", Bud's line "Hopefully, me in a minute!" was censored for the Fox repeat and subsequent syndication. Peggy & Al have sex.

Bud's girl: Ariel

Influences and references: The episode and the episode title is inspired by the movie "Twister". The epiloge is influenced by the movie "The Wizard of Oz".

Goofs: after Kelly's "personal possessions" you can see the microhone disappearing from over her while the camera is on Peg and her TV.
